Rick Stone – Wave
This video is part of a series that I’m putting together for my students at Hofstra. This part deals with repertoire development by demonstrating the Antonio Carlos Jobim tune “Wave.” The solo has been notated, and we go over it phrase by phrase in our lessons, examining the relationship of my lines to the chords. The analysis is also part of the video series.
